Thanks for posting, but $48 for the dog pack is a bit high, especially after reading some of reviews on it. Bought packs for my dogs several years ago (Pet Co) and it was a hoot when I put them on them. When they tried walking, the pack started shimmying towards their ass like a hula dancer in a grass skirt and of course, it came off. Modified it by adding an adjustable chest strap. Have them holding 6 packages of dried dog food in food sealed packages, with package dated when this was done so they don't have to eat stale dog food.

I agree, I've never paid more than $27 for a human-size backpack and I wouldn't pay that for dog-size and I was not shilling any particular product.

These packs are available (commercial, not homemade) at many local pet food outlets and I think it would be possible to make one to fit any particular dog using some of the smaller "canvas" bags.
