I do a modular system. I do have a couple of modules that have a fairly comple set of items. Most of the modules are specific for items.

They are grouped in a couple of places along with totes and/or packs. I can throw in the modules I believe I will need and take off.

There should also be a couple of small packs that she can also grab on the way out for tsunami safety and one for earthquake safety. They each have special equipment that will be needed for those events, which are highly likely.

Where she is, she will have to deal with a monsterous earthquake, then a tsunami and possibly volcanic events. What would you recommend she needs the most to get out.

Less likely is the need for volcanic activity kit. It would be good to have one, I would get the other two ready first, with the primary kit just as soon as possible.

You cannot ride out a tsunami if you are in the flood zone. You can often ride out just an earthquake. To me that means the tsunami kit first after the regular evac kit.

Volcanoes, depending on time, her location in relation to not just the current known volcanoes, but for any that might pop up during a subsidence event.

My biggest threat is an earthquake. If any of these volcanoes start acting up I'm headed to Idaho!

I do not have my modules in the forum as they are still evolving some. However, due to the tectonic activity happening now I will get some of those up just as quickly as I can. I do have old lists, from 40 years ago that I need to clean up and modify for current circumstances and equipment availability.

Cascadia is a subduction fault capable of 9.0+ magnitude quake with Mt, Rainier a few miles to the north. Mt. Lassen has been acting up with earthquakes under Lake Alamanor so ya'll may need a volcano kit yourselves.

My policy is that if I am physically safe at home, with nothing pending that could change that, I shelter in place. If there is even a slight risk of real danger then I immediately take off when that possibility becomes apparent.
