Just as I don't advise the use of devices such as Alexa and other personal digital assistants, I cannot recommend an in-home robot. Even the autonomous home vacuum is suspect, although I've not found any instances of it being used to spy on homeowners... Yet.
Don't let this stop you from looking at the other tools in this article.
