Ground Egg Shell
« on: March 25, 2018, 11:16:29 AM »
I have about 2 quarts of finely ground egg shell.  I run them through my coffee grinder.

My use for these is gardening, as a calcium amendment for tomatoes and green peppers and also as a soil Ph adjustment to make the soil more alkaline (higher Ph).

I've much more than I need for my window sill garden space, so....l

These shells are NOT roasted, although that is an option you may want to use.

FYI  Egg shells are about 98% Calcium Carbonate and can be used in the same proportion as garden store Calcium Carbonate soil amendment.  I use about 2 teaspoons full of the egg shell powder PER PLANT, mixed into the soil.

What do you have to barter?

PS:  These are probably NOT something I would feel comfortable shipping (white powder in a container...)  So local Reno only please.
