This site appears to have a LOT of info (partly opinion based) about MREs (Meals, Ready to Eat).

Since I do consider MREs to be a valid item in long term food storage, you may be interested in this information.

There are MANY links to pages (this may be more of an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy than a useful site layout technique.

Some links which point off-site are broken, mainly to government information pages.

There is also an active forum, to which I have NOT done more than give a quick look.

Remember the key word in the MRE name:  Emergency.  These are NOT full time meal replacements and you can expect digestive problems if you rely on Only MREs for your long term eating.  They will get your through a short term food crisis, but DON'T expect them to be your only food source...  You have been warned.
