Very simple buy good colonial period dish. Probably work with turnips too.
Shred 1 Rutabaga and dice finley 1 large white onion
mix together and fry in butter until onion browns and rutabaga is soft.
add 1 tsp of flour,1/2 tsp of cumin dry parsley and mix in beef broth until moist
add 1/4 cup of sweet cream or milk along with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste
eat while warm
