All right folks.  This is the much anticipated event I know many of you have been waiting for!  So, round up your barter items and get ready to test those haggling skills!


Prepper Swap Meet
Saturday, August 13, 2016
In the parking lot of Prep and Save
1472 Linda Way
Sparks, NV 89431
10:00am – 12:00pm
 Brush off your old gear.  Box up some of that extra food storage that’s taking up space.  Bring your extra books, bedding and blankets.  Have an overstock of medical supplies?  Bring all your excess Prepper gear and barter items and hone your bartering skills with other Preppers looking for deals!
NO GUNS! NO AMMO!
All transactions must be trade/barter – NO CASH TRANSACTIONS, except for Prepper silver
Please bring your wares, a table or something to display your gear and be ready to get your barter on!
The Prep and Save Store will also be open for any in-store purchases.

We were hoping that you would not pick this date. We have a wedding where David is the acting Minister. If for some reason the date changes we will be available. I will keep checking the site as we have put together things that we wanted to barter knowing that you were going to have this event, just not knowing the date.

Had a lot of fun yesterday.  Made some great trades and learned some lessons about bartering.  Already thinking about the next one. 


PS - Ken, you're lucky my dog likes the dog treats  ;)

Glenda, thanks for creating and managing this event.
It was super fun and those who were not there really missed out!
I'm looking forward to the next one and watching the attendance grow.
I also made some bitchin' deals !!!

Excellent work Glenda!

Had a great time, made some great deals for myself. Looking forward to the next one.

Learned some more things, just like last time. If I can at all, I plan to have some specific trading goods rather than just things I do not need.

My thoughts are already spinning for the next one.  I'm definitely going to diversify the items that I bring for trade and I've got some great stuff in mind!  Can't wait!


So glad this event was successful for everyone.  We will definitely have more in the future.
