Some good information and some reasons to avoid long-term stockpiling of foods with high oil/fat content.

Processed foods and commercial mixes with added fats are a potential problem... You don't know what they really contain nor what their storage life might be.  Best to stick with whole foods and plan on eating simple and/or making your own "mixes" on a single batch basis.  Learn to cook??? ::)

The article contains good advice (IMO) on how to extend the storage life of oils and fats.

DO NOTE the chart of expected life expectancies.  I don't know the source for this charge, so take it with a "grain-of-salt" and be conservative on your own estimates.
