Good article which makes some sense. It addresses both the expensive pet supplies and why homemade may, or may not, be better.

If I still had pets, I would be looking at how to supply their food needs AFTER the bags of kibble are gone. The article does address this.
Pet health needs are an ofter overlooked part of pet prepping. Do your plans include pet medications and things like toenail clippers, hair brushes etc.?
