I know you guys have all been waiting for this!
It is scheduled for release May 29th. The movie stars The Rock as a helicopter pilot searching for his daughter after an epic 9.0 magnitude earthquake rattles the San Andreas fault and devastates California.
I wanted to post this and start getting some interest in a movie matinee and lunch. Once the movie times are published, we can pick the date and time and schedule a formal event.

I'm having surgery on May 28th and don't know how long my doctor will keep me on a leash.
I'll watch the comments here and see if I will be able to attend.

I cannot do it Saturday May 30th or Sunday, June 7th, but all Saturdays and other Sundays in June are looking good for me, until we get the June meeting scheduled.

It's starting to look like Sunday the 14th is going to work the best.
Once the movie times are released, we can decide on time and location as well as where to gather afterwards.

Once the movie is released and the times are posted, that will determine which theater we go to. I am thinking either the one in Sparks or Park Lane.

I like the Sunday the 14th date and I was thinking the Galaxy IMax theater because we can book and reserve our seats there.

And they sell beer! Hadn't thought of that theater. Might be a great place to see this movie!

Here are the details for the event.
Sunday, June 14th at the Galaxy Theater in Sparks, located at the Legends Outlet Mall. We will be going to the 1:40pm showing. Please gather out front so that we can all go in together, no later than 1:15pm.
After the movie, we will decide on where to go afterwards for food and discussion.

Hi Guys,
I won't be able to make this weekend's events, but I'm really glad to see activities like this on the board. Hopefully you guys will post a review and your thoughts about the movie once you've had the discussion. ;)

Really liked the movie, even with the inaccuracies. At least they had a few things right, though, and there was no prepper bashing.

Naturally, I do not completely agree with everything they say, but I would suggest you follow their advice before mine where it differs, since I am only responsible for my own life and will take my chances with what I believe.
