Title: my booboo this week

This reminds me of my booboo this week. Engaged a rooster carcass in a little CQC with butchering knife and the chicken wone.  Slipped and stabbed my left hand radial artery....bleed very well and washed out the wound. Good exercise in family 1st aid but my wife is still threatening to take my knives away(!).

At least you are okay.

I must say, you do sound like my brother that lives in Illinois. His friends are threatening him with taking away his knives, power tools, and ladders.

I second what Jerry said.  It is an inevitability that we are going to cut ourselves at one point or another.
