This is, to my mind at least, an unusual source for such information, but it is useful.

A list of foods with their expected storage lifetimes, open and unopened packaging.

A note about nuts, this source does not distinguish between UNHULLED and hulled nuts.

Unhulled nuts have a much longer lifetime if properly stored, ask any squirrel...
