Hello all,
I need a concrete slab and disability ramp placed in my tiny front yard so I can have my mother visit. She may be moving in with me and needs to use a walker.
Suggestions and volunteers appreciated.

I wish I could help, but it is outside my scope. If you are able to set up a work group to assist let me know and I will do what I can to lend a hand to those that can actually do the work.

I'll be available for manual labor (not a concrete expert). Might need transport if you're too far for bicycle travel. PM me with approximate location please.

I have done concrete work before (when I was like 10 or 12) if the day planned works in my schedule I can help for sure. Not an expert by any means but been on the job & worked on the jobs my father was doing so I have an idea.
Also I must tell you if you watch some of the youtube videos out on doing concrete work they are really very good. If nothing else it will help you know all the equipment you will need or not need. Example - if you are not doing an area that you need great distances you can get away with a couple of hand floats and a two by four as far as equipment. I was very impressed with youtube stuff for info on covering for wet weather when drying, how long etc. Give it a watch

Are you still in need Renni?

Renni,
I'm a little bit to far away to help, but have you considered a wood ramp instead of a lot more permanent and expensive concrete. If it only for a short period of time the wood might be a better choice, imo
