Unfortunately I missed the discussion ill try to stay up a bit later. Thanks Ken for the welcome yes it was my firt visit but I live in the far east of the state and I dont think there are any repeaters able to get out this far yet. What would that involve? I have a couple of friends/hams who are interested as well.

I managed to listen in last night for a bit until my lady said enough ill need to get my ham license so I can participate now.
I was listening using a little baofeng on 147.210 its great to know its possible.
