A stich in time saves nine ... or something like that my Grandma used to say .... and she was right! It's time to learn to sew. Having enough beans, bullets and bandaids is all well and good but you're going to look darn silly wearing a trash bag and one holey sock because you can't fix your clothes and make new ones. Being a stylish, self-relient Prepper is what it's all about now.
We'll be meeting at Prep and Save on Linda Way at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 14th. This will be a hands on training event to learn how to work with material, work with a pattern and sew your own project. We'll be both hand sewing and working with sewing machines. Please bring your sewing machine if you have one. We will REALLY need extras. So, learn with Lisa as she takes us through the steps necessary to teach you how to make basic patterns and work with sewing machines. Learn how to sew on your morale patches so they're straight. Learn how to sew the sleeves back onto your muscle shirts. Learn how to sew the tear in your sleeping bag. Learn how to sew your kids Halloween costumes. Bring the kids. Bring grandma. Bring a sewing machine if you have one.
This will be our last meeting of the year. Please come out to join us for the fun!
