Encourage Predators of Pests (Allies)


1. Give predators Food –  parasitic wasps flys and most others require nectar that many small flowered herbs and flowers and many feed the pests as food for their larvae. Since we live in the woods, they were there already all we had to do is draw them to the garden.

Keep Your Plants Healthy
keep plants healthy and they  deterrents to pests.

8. Build Healthy Soil – Add nutrients and micro-organisms to the soil!

9. Increase Soil Organic Matter – Mulch, compost, and the resultant micro-organisms will help to build the soil organic matter which dramatically increasing the soil’s water holding capacity.
