My dad took a boating safety course after buying his boat several years ago. Despite him growing up on the Great Lakes, he said he learned alot of stuff in that course

Yep ! Sunstroke on the water could come on before you know it since many boats do not have any type of cabin or cover.

I've seen some wicked bad sunburns because the water reflects the sun, giving you a double exposure to the sun rays

We almost took my dad to the hospital once from a bad sunburn from canoeing. He was shivering uncontrollably and vomiting.
His poor legs were blistered
