Changing Camp Services.
So my question is to all site members and those who might attend a training camp.
We have established places that we traditionally camp. These have things like firepits, restrooms, water, tables, trash cans and sometimes covered areas. These are very nice to have and we all have found that we needed less to think about when planning and during the camp.
So what if we did not have these?
What if you brought your water, toilet facilities, trash bags, tables and shade?
It would take you more time to be prepare and execute your camp but isn't this what we prep for? Being self reliant for a few days?
The result would be more places to camp at and some could be pretty unique and it would allow us to do more things without the normal sets of rules.
I don't want to have folks throw in the towel on going but to see if we could expand our groups range and have more variety.
Could I get your thoughts on these items:
Would you attend a camp if you have to provide for yourselves with the aforementioned items?
How far would you travel to the camp?
Are you capable of traveling unpaved, semi decent roads?
Thanks to all for participating!
