A point is made to have off-site caches which may survive a fire.
I never considered keeping items to do repair: fences, windows, doors...

Or even organize a bucket brigade team. A circle of friends that are committed to step up at the time of need and they bring tools they have at hand and maybe work parties could be planned

I have a few friends who have an envelope filled with personal information kept in my safe just in case.
Jerry is right, about not being shy to ask for mental health services. Do that BEFORE taking drugs for depression or other mental issues. Talking with a pro is much safer than drugs.
