Typical JDY good story. 


Interesting premise on how a SHTF could start.   Behind the scenes meddling by elements in power - the Sci-fi movie Serenity had that same issue and in both cases unintended consequences happened.


I can see how JDY’s version could happen.


Well worth it.

I've just finished reading this story myself.  I recommend it to your book collection.

I found that I like some of the twists which Jerry has applied as compared to more "traditional" distopian fiction.

I don't want to give away too much, but I think you'll like "Penny".

I will comment on the particular "event" around which the story is based.  It involves "Digital Addiction" also know as "Gaming Addiction".  I can relate to this because I also play computer games, but not online games.  However, people in my household DO show signs of this affliction.

A key part of Jerry's story is that this syndrome has been used as a psychological weapon.  'Nuf said.

Jerry; I expect a sequel somewhere down the road...

It's an excellent book Jerry, I enjoyed it very much and look forward to reading the sequel.
