Title: Foraging: 62 "wild" edible plants
Post by: TWP on December 31, 2016, 10:25:15 AM
These each have a good picture and short description.

Add this to your digital library.

The web page is set up with a table of content linking down to each plant, which makes it easier to find a plant if you know the name.

Did you know that Kudzu is edible?  High Yucch Factor.  Hold your nose and just chew.  You must be hungry!

Yes, I suppose that Asparagus does grow wild someplace...

Most states where I have lived had Wild asparagus for the taking. Mostly along the roads at the field's edge under the power lines were the birds deposit the seed from the digested berries.

I don't know about kudzu but eating yarrow? Good medicinal plant but bitter does not describe it.
