Today we woke up to my son's Douglas High School day being canceled due to "hazardous" air quality. I donned my N95 mask and hiked anyway. Today was the worst smoke visibility I have seen to date in the Western Carson Valley.

Stay Safe out there.  God bless our firefighters and first responders.
