Medical skills are great.  After going to Hatiti after their earthquake I decided to expand my skills.  I took and completed an EMT course.  It was very interesting.and useful.

A 10 meter net is possible with the right antenna. To talk to each other locally, this close together on 10 M will take a bit of work but is a must to learn IMHO.

I have hf capabilities, but due to space limitations i just havent used it. Was looking into mag loops but homestly my engineering knowlage is limited when math come in to play.

With vaccume capaciters you use them to tune. But they're finicky and need a good slow step controller to use em.
I just get stuck on the math for dimentions and such.
