How long is 91 octane gas from the pump generally good to go without adding Stabil and how long does adding Stabil prolong the viability of the gas. Also, how long does Stabil remain viable before adding it to the fuel?

SAX, I've heard varying reports. Raw gas, sealed, is good for 6months to 2 years, Stabil extends this to several years. My understanding is the Stabil does not decay (very long life).

Thanks Ken.

I did finally remember the other point I wanted to make.

If full is added fairly often to a tank, it will help keep the existing fuel fresher. A couple of gallons in a thousand gallon tank might not do it, bt twenty percent or more should.

Just my opinion.
