Digging a hole for a cistern then fitting the cistern with a very good ground/earth mounted underneath. Many of the skills we learned here would be of use digging a shallow hand dug well.

Another excellent video. I could not hear much of the commentary due to wind noise. You might have said, but if you did I did not hear. Will you put concrete or Quick-Crete in the bottom of the cistern, or is the clay tight enough to hold the water okay?

About 500 gallons I have 4 finished and 1 more to go in the ground. With another under ground tank I already have will give me about 3000 gallons of underground storage.
