I finally got around to organizing the additional information I mentioned during the net meeting.

Building Community and helping each other

I am a firm believer in that survival for any disaster or situation greatly different from current norms, will be very difficult for lone wolves, families, small family groups, and even small MAGs.
There will, of course, be times when a single person or small group will want to be as undetectable as possible, and avoiding others, both civilian and governmental elements.

But for the most part, being associated with an independent larger group, or loose association of groups, will be advantageous to both your own group as well as theirs.

There are also the factors of not just cooperation to achieve goals, but active aid and assistance in some situations. This is a touch subject. But I personally feel some humanitarian aid in readiness will go a long way in preserving peace, and make working together long term much easier.

There are a huge number of aspects to forming and maintaining a community that will benefit everyone. I have voiced my opinions on many of them over the years in posts on various forums. I have attached a .pdf that has many of those posts brought together. Pretty much a random mix, as usual, with some duplication.

Everything not so labeled as factual, is simply my opinion.

Jerry,
Spot on.

The ONLY words I ever agreed with HRClinton was the words, "It takes a village."

Of course, my village is significanctly different from hers.

Most folks are happy being a part of the Great Shepherds Flock.
Some folks choose to be wolves and prey on the flock.
Some folks choose to defend the flock and confront the wolf.
