I found this interesting article about the increase in radio noise (interference), mostly due (so claims the article) to non-compliant electronic devices.

Question: Have any of our HAMs experienced this?

Yes. It is part of my problem here in the apartment building. Lots of low cost electrical appliances, and especially personal electronics all around me. My radios are noisier here in the apartment than they are right outside.
Just my opinion.

I agree with Jerry and the article.
One must be mindful of those items purchased for the home and in the case of LED lighting, some homebrew will most likely be needed until the industry comes up to speed with regard to eliminating those nasty switching power supply faults.
