And I want to thank Rob and Kristin for sharing their experiences in such an open manner. It has helped me reevaluate my various plans and improve them. Thanks guys.

Excellent report from Ken and Kristin.  Losing the use of the truck revealed the need for backup plans and duplicate items (radio, food, water, etc.) 

The presence of the other park residents shows a need for plans on how to interact with un-prepared people.

As Jerry said, time to re-evaluate our plans and preps for evacuation.

We're glad you survived without major troubles.

I want to thank Rob and Kristen again as well.  Thank you for sharing and being open about this experience.  There was so much more I wanted to comment about on the net but wasn't able to. 


Rob's observance of the crowd gathering afterwards was something that I took note on as well.  While many were most likely there out of curiosity and the shock and awe factor, this is still a very precarious situation because there could be the potential of someone looking to take advantage of the situation. 


This net has definitely got me thinking and re-evaluating my thoughts on evacuation.
