Article - Some Thoughts when you have to bug-out Quietly
« on: May 20, 2017, 11:21:48 AM »
Of the several scenarios in the Prepper EOTW event list, there are some which imply the need to bug-out in a quiet and unobtrusive manner.

For example, a social breakdown which involves crowds of (pick one or more) hungry, angry, scared or dangerous people.

Or a martial law situation in which people are being directed to go to the designated "safe space", in the interest of "public safety"...  You must decide if that is a direction which you actually should be going...

This article discusses some (by no means all) of the considerations you need to make about your bug-out.

Yes, I acknowledge that there are less ominous situations which may require a bug-out, but the article specifically looks at how to get away quietly, not leaving an obvious trail and doing so safely.

Do your bug-out plans include the possible need to do so without drawing attention to you and your group/family?
