Be cautious about which chemicals you choose to store for insect control.  Many are not healthy.

If you are handy with tools, you can make your own traps.  They don't necessarily need to be the traditional spring loaded "snap" trap.  Dead drops, snares and other kinds of traps can be constructed using available materials.

My "heard" of outside cats seem to be doing a good job but I have a good stock of poisons for the house, as well as, traditional spring loaded "snap" trap. A lot of simple, ingenious tip trap plans on the net too.
