Waste Disposal with "kitty litter"???

This article gives a good analysis of how much "kitty litter" you might actually need to store if you plan on using it for waste disposal.

Given that you DO NOT HAVE access to wood ashes, then this "may" be an option for you.  If your plan is to Bug-In in an apartment, then DO READ this article and plan accordingly.

If you DO HAVE wood ashes, then they are a renewable resource and, I think, a far better choice for waste disposal.

My Opinion:

For Short Term Use only.  Beyond a couple of weeks, the amount of "kitty litter" needed will be too large for most small apartments or houses with limited storage space.

If you plan on Bugging-Out, then Don't Take Kitty Litter with you for Waste Disposal.  It has a place as something to get a vehicle un-stuck from mud holes, but the amount needed for this is smaller than that needed for waste disposal.

DO NOTE the recommendation that separating solid and liquid wastes will greatly extend the amount of "kitty litter" needed.  This is also true for using wood ashes...
