A non-technical "show and tell" on a kit with four Baofeng hand-held transceivers, repeater package and installation tools.
No matter if you have a negative opinion of the Baofeng products, this is a good general introduction to WHY you might need a kit similar to this.

The Baofeng units will operate in the FRS and MURS frequency ranges, (non-ham bands) in case you need to do comms with non-hams (I are one of those).
Do watch the video. PJF explains the reasons why his group needs a repeater (geographic locations of his group). He also discusses why prepper groups are a good idea.
