One, which I find "doable" is the solar water still. It is the same design as a classic water recovery method (hole in the ground, cover with plastic sheet, bucket in the center and a rock on the plastic). But this one is done with hardware and could be expanded to multiple units for more water production:

If you have ever seen the roof top "solar" windows, a bubble shaped plastic window which is mounted on the roof to allow sunlight to enter the home... Those would work better than the flat pane shown in this project.
