Title: Keeping Bees

This article covers much of the information you will need to raise your own bee hive(s).

I would recommend acquiring multiple books on the subject, as the article con only point out the major topics on which you will need to become knowledgeable.

Several books are linked in the article, but a general web search will yield many more.

I am a proponent of bee keeping for preppers who have a permanent, safe location.   This need not be your actual bug-out-location (BOL), but merely a safe place near the source of pollen and nectar for the bees.

Remember that bees need water too, so a stream or permanent pond is needed somewhere close to the hive(s), say within a mile.

HIves should be close enough to your BOL for easy access, for instance on foot...
