Good article with basic information on prepping herbs for stoarge.
The advice on freezing has the obvious problem of power failure and subsequent loss of all the frozen foods...
Drying, Oils, and Vinegar are the better long term options.

DO NOTE that some herbs do not retain favor upon drying. I can attest to Basil having this problem since I grown it in my window sill. Best picked and used fresh.

Fresh is always best but most need to be dried to preserve them. the key is keeping the temperature as low as possible.
