I'll assume that everyone who knows about Yahoo(r) also knows that the business failed some time ago AND was sold off.
The consequence is the new "policies" which you will be asked to accept... DO NOTE, you may find yourself grandfathered under these "policies" and not even be aware of how they may affect you...
Read this article and, if you still use Yahoo(r) (confession: I have maintained my Yahoo(r) email account for now), you must decide if you can live with the new "policies"...
http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/yahoos-terms-of-servitude-the-beginning-of-incremental-enslavement-that-grows-stronger-by-the-day_05302017PS: I did open different email accounts (plural), with non-yahoo(r) businesses, just because of these changes.
It is more than a slight hassle to change the many uses of my Yahoo(r) email address. It is not a quick process to remember each place I used Yahoo(r)'s email address for log-ins and correspondence AND THEN to change them to some address which is more secure and less intrusive.
I've drastically altered the types of messages for which I use my Yahoo(r) account. Now, I only talk about the weather and who will win the underwater basket weaving races. Read between the lines and make your own choice.
PSS: I think you will find the Googles(r) Gmail(r) accounts are just as intrusive and insecure. Look elsewhere...
