Should you find yourself needing to bug-out during real winter conditions, perhaps without any warning and no preps. Could you do it?
http://www.smartpreppergear.com/15-life-saving-tips-winter-bugout/Needless to say, the scenario used as an example, the Finnish "Winter War" of 1939, is a worst case situation.
But, what would you do if you had to leave your home, right in the middle of a snow storm? You have NO time to pack anything, just grab your BOB and get out right now.
Personally, it would still take us about 10 minutes to get out the door. Yes, we need more practice... That is too Slow.
Let's say there is a fireman pounding on the door and yelling at us to "get out now". What would you do?
Is your BOB handy? Is it near enough to the exit that you can grab it on the way out?
Things to think about now, before you need to take action...
