On February 5th a new movie is being released. Pride, Prejudice + Zombies. It isn't exactly a Prepper movie but it does have Zombies and that's almost kinda sorta close-ish vaguely Prepper related... well, you get the idea. Who might be interested in going to the Galaxy theater opening night or maybe on a Saturday matinee show time? Take a look at the link for the movie preview and post your thoughts on a movie night.

I am in. Prefer the Saturday matinée, but if the vote goes for Friday, I am good for that, too.
And I have to say, there is definitely some prepper information in it. From the preview clip it looks like the ladies in our group may learn how to conceal all types of weapons in ways that would never occur to me. (sic) lol

Although the movie releases on the 5th of February, I can't find a local showtime for this movie on that date. I was looking for this to play at the Galaxy Theater in Sparks on the 6th of February but the theater isn't listing it as an upcoming show. They do have the posters all over the lobby so I expect to see it play there. When I have a confirmed schedule, most likely the following week or two we'll get the theater and time posted for us to attend the showing. It seems like a matinee is the popular choice and we'll go with that. So, hang tight folks and we'll get it locked in for us to have a movie event as soon as the listing is made at the theater.

Rob wanted to see if any of you are interested in seeing the Zombie movie Sunday Feb 21st in the afternoon at the Galaxy theatre in Sparks. The schedule is not out yet but let us know if anyone else is interested in going to see it.

I don't see this movie listed anywhere in our area anymore.

This movie dropped out of the theaters on Friday and isn't showing anywhere that I can find. It's looking as though I'm simply going to rent it from Redbox when it becomes available and show it on a sheet in the back yard. It lasted less than 3 weeks in theaters so I hope it wasn't a complete stinker. Regardless though, I'd still watch it because it's a classic tale and also has zombies.
That being said, I'm not giving up. It's become a mission for me to get this movie and we can all watch it together, someplace.
