How much practice do you have at "living off the land"?

If you know anyone who raises chickens or rabbits for food, ask to help at their next "harvest" day.
It is a skill, yes, but you also need to get through the learning process about "animal slaughter".
My own initial experience was not until the age of 30 or so, and I think (opinion) that children should participate
after the age of about 10 years.
