It seems there was more than a little 'blow back" response about the government order in the Virgin Islands:
Tucker Carlson asked Mapp about directing to The Adjutant General to “seize arms” and Mapp said, “I did not order or authorize The Adjutant General of the Virgin Islands National Guard to seize any weapons from any citizens, and I do not have the power by Virgins Islands law or by the Constitution of the United States to seize weapons from citizens via the military.”
I'm guessing that the English language is not the same one spoken by government officials. They may have their own dictionary which is used to phrase orders...
If push came to shove, how do you think it will look to the people who has guns or food seized and to the rest of the world who are watching?
I'm reminded of one of our own past presidents, who said: "It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is."
