  A widow lady in our  congregation has decided to move to a retirement village in Utah to be near her daughter. She said there will be no space in her apartment for her storage and she isn't able to move everything. Today she asked if I would please take away most of her "one year's " supply of #10 cans of wheat, flour, refried beans, apple slices, potato flakes and freeze dried onion flakes that she bought at our church's LDS Prep Center here. I will be at her home this week to haul it all away and bring it to my home. She bought it all about 1 year ago. Since the lady I am dating says she will be coming to my place when things fall apart, I need to keep stocking just in case. I told her she would have to marry me first and we both had a good laugh.

Marriage? Are you trying to scare me off? I thought that challenge may scare her a bit I haven't really been in a relationship in 7+ years.

  So far she likes seeing that I am working on preparedness. She lives with one of her daughters, son in law and grandkids and they have no storage at present. I guess I am old fashioned and so is she for that matter. If she needs to move here, it will be under the right circumstances.
