This is something you do need...  'Nuf Said...

There are lots of variables in the composition of a Blow Out Bag, but this video shows and describes the content of one which is available as a kit.

The source is given in the video and I'm NOT advising that you buy it, but it is a good example of what you need.

The other thing you MUST HAVE is TRAINING in how to use your Blow Out Bag.

Did I mention TRAINING?  TRAINING, TRAINING...

That means you need to find a place to obtain said TRAINING.

I would start be contacting a local hospital, emergency treatment center or talk to an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) who can direct you to a TRAINING SCHOOL.

Finally, the kit being described in the video is not cheap and I think you could find almost all of the items in a good, local medical supply store.  Some items CANNOT be purchased without a prescription... So watch the video for some advice on this point.

And last but not least:  TRAINING, TRAINING, TRAINING.

Yes - Training x 10
The kit noted is good.

Current TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) protocols stress stopping/control of LIFE THREATENING BLEEDING and maintaining airway/respiration.

I have a goodly amount of experience in this area.  IF you have questions, ask me, I will tell you what I would do/buy.  I will not tell you what to do nor what to buy.  If asked about specific equipment/supplies I will give you my opinion.
NOTE how weaselly worded this is.  I write it this way to make sure that you understand that I am not practicing medicine and that I am sharing with you my experience and knowledge.

WolfBrother

Most folks are happy being a part of the Great Shepherds Flock.
Some folks choose to be wolves and prey on the flock.
Some folks choose to defend the flock and confront the wolf.

I am a SheepDog.
