Handling Stress in Children
« on: October 29, 2016, 10:04:09 AM »
Kids are often not taught how to handle stress in their lives.  Certainly the school system is failure in the area (among many other areas of failure).

A Preppers, we do need to know both how to recognize stress in children and how to handle it.

This is true for EVERYONE, not just parents.  In a worst case scenario, you may have orphaned children who will need your help...

This article talks about how to recognize and address childhood stress.

Finally, I will note that adults are not immune to stress ("No lie, you say!") and we need to be aware and able to handle it, both in ourselves and in other people in your group.

I won't fall into the psycho-babble trap which I hear from many (most) college sociology students and graduates.  Beware when you start hearing too many buzz-words and not enough solid, workable advice...
