DO NOTE this warning about certain types of squash AND about certain conditions which can make them toxic.

I'm not trying to create fear and anxiety by linking to this article.

DO be aware of the possible problem.  The article has some excellent pictures and discussion of what Might happen.

The important thing is that these squash can be identified by the Very Bitter taste.  FYI

Note that these same squash are sold in grocery stores and raised by home gardeners... Be aware.
