Conflicted Survival Card Game Night -October 13

Conflicted Survival Card Game Night -October 13
« on: September 27, 2015, 08:02:47 PM »
A survival card game designed for preppers and survivalists and those wanting to introduce others to emergency preparedness, Conflicted: The Survival Card Game will give you hours of meaningful discussion while entertaining you and your friends and family.

You will be asked to come up for answers to several realistic scenarios which will pull you completely out of your comfort zone, make you think about life without the modern comforts you currently enjoy, and reveal to yourself what kind of person you really are when faced with situations that will either end your life or destroy your moral compass.

Please check out the website - www.conflictedthegame.com for more information

Older, mature children are welcome. Some scenarios can tread into some darker and difficult conversations. Parents, please use your discretion on whether this would be appropriate for your child.

The game is based on the idea that society has collapsed and we are living in survival situations. Each card will present a specific scenario. We only have the information given on that card and answers should be given based on the scenario of the card that has been drawn. The goal is to explore how far you will go in order to survive.

Each person is given 2 minutes to answer. There are no right or wrong answers.

Please, no interruptions. Allow each person to finish their answer. You may pass at any time on any card. Please stay on topic to the scenario of the card that has been drawn.

If a particular card is triggering further discussion, we can set that card aside and have open discussion at the end of the evening.

This has been a fabulous game night. The answers and discussions have all been very thought provoking. I've learned more about myself in this process and been presented with scenarios that I have never thought possible which has then made me re-think my perspective and adjust in my own life. I have also been very impressed by the answers some of the teens that have attended have given. We have many very mature teenagers in this group! The end goal to this evening is to build camaraderie, thoughtful discussion and building the strength of the group and relationships.

Where: Roundtable Pizza at 5150 Mae Ann, Reno, NV 89523.
When: The back room is open at 5:00pm so we can grab some grub before starting.  The game starts at 6:00pm and wraps up at 8:00pm.

Tuesday night is All You Can Eat Pizza and Salad Bar Buffet. We will be meeting in the banquet room.  You do not need to purchase anything to attend.

Look forward to seeing you there!

David and I will be there. My grandkids (2) are going to try to get off from work so she can drive up from Carson where she works. I will let you know, and our daughter Alicia is going to try to make it. I will confirm as soon as they know.

I don't think we will attend this month. My son likes the monthly game as much as I do. But, the democratic debate is on and I want to hear all the griping (on both sides).

But just remember my thought, "How would Jerry answer the question?"[/b]

It seems that our grandchildren can not be there until 7:30. They know that there would only be an half hour left of the meeting but they still want to come. Can they come for the half hour?

As usual it was a great meeting and of cause Glenda did a great job in keeping us in line. What was great was even though my grand kids can late they learned somethings that changed their way of thinking. We spent some time in the parking lot talking about the meeting. This meeting and some of the answers help confirm a lot of what we have been telling them and training them for.....thank you.

I love these card game nights. Learned a great deal, had some good insights from the newer people, and got some rather comforting answers from some of the 'old timers'.

Just my opinion.
