Joe:  Good video, it was clear and revealed the positives and negatives of the Lavvu design.

I think I could make one of these using a pair of tarps.  It might lack some of the alternative uses, like using them as ponchos, but as a tent it would serve well.  The collapsible tent pole might take a little work, but I think I've seen some mop and watering wands which have this ability (close down to small length).
