Some good ideas on how to handle a water crisis.

While I personally would not buy canned water, especially at the prices mentioned in this article, it remains a valid source for short term emergencies.

There are some good ideas on how to collect drinking water from many sources.  I looked around our local area and have already identified several sources which could be accessed in a crunch situation.  Some are only good for a short time before they are exhausted, others will last longer (lakes/ponds) and many people will be unwilling or unable to use them for aesthetic reasons (EWWWW, You think I'm going to drink that water?).

Do look at the simple water still graphic.  It is made from a single pot with lid.  It will not produce large amounts of water, but enough for one or two people, for each day.
