Jerry,  If I had some actual plans in mind I'd be able to give a better reply...

Off the top of my head, right now, it is a set of "avoidance" acts, much as you and WolfBrother states.

1)  Don't use those devices which are open (or secret) doors to the big database.  Tough because I'm online.

2)  Avoid places where cameras are in obvious use (casinos, banks, hotels, airports, government buildings, to list a few).

3)  Don't use TOR  (The Onion Router).

4)  Don't use my real name online (tough, it's already out there).

5)  Use Situational Awareness everywhere I go.

6)  Try NOT to use encryption online, to avoid posting a red flag signal:  "This Is Important, So Ignore This" - doesn't work...

7)  Agree, among my group, on a set of code phrases when it is ABSOLUTELY necessary and AT NO OTHER TIME.

Jerry, I like your item about having alternate face masks.  They seem to be a one time (or very limited) usage item.  More something to use during a G.O.O.D. response.  Having more than one makes sense.

Using walking aids to change ones gait also sound good, again on a very limited basis.

I don't see anything which we, as simple preppers, can do to prevent the development and deployment of AI in it's more pernicious forms.  There is too much money, power and politics behind this trend.

I'm looking for input because I'm sure I'm missing some other plan items.  More minds work faster...

WolfBrother;  The Three Laws Of Robotics requires that it be coded into the system.  It would work, except when it is NOT part of the system.   I can see where weaponized robotics are not compatible with such coding... ???

Imagine this - you make a Robot guided missle frigate. You tell it that ALL frigates are robots and would respond with human sounding voices to prevent it from being destroyed.
Would that frigate have a problem destroying other’s?

Control of definition = control

The wiki mentioned that the people of Solaris defined human to only very closely match the inhabitants to include their distinctive speech patterns.

One of the original several somewhat terraformed and settled planets. Part of the Robot series of Asimov’s books.

I’d read all of the robot books, then the original 3 foundation series, then the ones he wrote later that tied the robot series and the foundation series together.

Good reading and great examples of how AI can be good and bad

I am going to have to think on this a bit more, TWP. I think I can come up with a few more ideas.

Just my opinion.

This is another "news" report (source is Yahoo(r), which remains very questionable) about CURRENT usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in ways which reduce our privacy and freedom.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/privacy-fears-over-artificial-intelligence-crimestopper-015326163.html

WARNING:  In an attempt to "drill down" and find the source of this article, I Could Not find the author on the quoted news source (AFP - http://www.afp.com/).  This is suspicious in itself.  Nor could I find the article itself on any other source than Yahoo(r).

I post this more because it cannot be verified than as a reference about AI.

This points out the need to verify sources before quoting them...
