This site has a huge list of preservation "recipes" for many different foods. It will take a while to read through and longer to make copies, but it could be worth the time invested.

If there is an interest from the rest of you, I can extract these to a set of files. I think we could do this without violating copyright laws. Certainly you can make your own individual copies.
