As I use this site to post topics of interest, I note that our readership seems to be limited to about 10 people. This is with a membership of, technically" 75 people.
My question is:
How can we increase the number of members who visit and read this site?
I appreciate the regular comments about the site on the NNPG HAM broadcasts, but again that is a limited audience.
What are your thoughts on this?
Should we be trying to get more members on the site? This is probably a question for the leadership team, as it involves policy matters.
Yes, I am aware that many, even most of the members who have registered with the site are just 'looky lou's" and seldom return.
I am of two minds on how much of the information on this should be visible to the non-member public. At the moment, most of the site is restricted, which may lead new visitors to perceive the site to be "dead" or otherwise inactive. May I suggest that more forums be created which are visible to non-registered people?
Again, your thoughts on this are requested. All 10 of you at this time... ;D
